Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter
In a large bowl, whisk together 4 eggs with 150 grams of sugar until pale and fluffy, approximately 3-4 minutes
In a separate bowl, combine 200 grams of semolina flour, 100 grams of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and a pinch of salt
Fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture alternately with 120 ml of plain yogurt, beginning and ending with dry ingredients
Stir in 30 ml of melted butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until just combined
Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top, then cut into diamond or square shapes and place one whole clove or almond in the center of each piece
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
While cake bakes, prepare honey syrup by heating 250 grams of honey, 150 ml of water, 1 cinnamon stick, and 3-4 whole cloves in a saucepan until it reaches a gentle simmer, then cool slightly
Pour the warm honey syrup over the hot cake immediately after removing from oven and let it absorb for at least 30 minutes before serving
