Joining and Creating Communities
Communities are groups of people on Clevada organized around a shared interest, topic, location, or profession. They have their own feed, posts, and members.
Browsing Communities
Click Explore > Communities in the navigation to browse available communities. You can filter by category or search by name.
Joining a Community
Click Join on any public community to become a member. Joined communities appear in your sidebar for quick access, and their posts show in your feed.
Some communities are private - you can request to join and a moderator will approve or decline your request.
Creating a Community
- Go to Explore > Communities
- Click Create Community
- Choose a name, description, category, and cover image
- Set visibility: Public (anyone can join) or Private (approval required)
Posting in a Community
Open a community and click New Post. You can write text, add images, or share a link. Posts are visible to all community members.
Moderation
As a community creator or moderator you can:
- Approve or reject join requests (private communities)
- Remove posts that violate community rules
- Ban members
- Assign other moderators
Community categories
Communities are automatically assigned to categories by Clevada's AI based on their content and description. You cannot manually assign a category.
