Getting Started with Workspace
Clevada Workspace is a project and team management tool built into the portal. It includes tasks, projects, time tracking, channels (team chat), forms, and more - all in one place.
Accessing Workspace
Workspace runs on its own subdomain: workspace.clevada.com. You can reach it from any page by clicking My Clevada in the top navigation and selecting Workspace.
Creating your first Space
A Space is a top-level container - think of it as a department, a client, or a project area.
- In the Workspace sidebar, click Spaces
- Click + New Space
- Give it a name, pick a color, and set visibility:
- Private - only you and invited members
- Public - visible to everyone in your workspace
Creating Projects and Tasks
Inside a Space you can create Projects to group related work, and Tasks within those projects.
- A Task has a title, description, status (To Do / In Progress / In Review / Done), priority, assignee, and due date.
- Use the Kanban view inside a project to drag tasks between columns.
Channels - Team Chat
Channels are chat rooms within your workspace. Click the # icon in the sidebar to open Channels.
- Public channels - anyone can join and read messages
- Private channels - invite-only
Messages are delivered in real time via WebSockets - no page refresh needed.
Time Tracking
Use the built-in timer to log time on tasks. Click the clock icon on any task to start the timer. You can also log time manually from the Time section.
Forms
Create custom forms to collect data from your team or customers. Forms can be embedded on external websites or shared via a direct link.
